i'm interested in this rug for outdoor use. i know that it says 'indoor/outdoor,' but i'm wondering if there should be any extra care taken for this rug or if it'll last a shorter time b/c its an outdoor rug. looking at the 5'X8' there is slight covering on my porch where it will go, but it'll still get wet i think.

Jeremy, since this rug is specified as an 'indoor/outdoor rug,' it is designed to resist stains, damage, and fading. Outdoor rugs are generally very easy to clean and maintain. Here are some tips for cleaning and maintenance:
1. If your rug is not in use, especially if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow during the winter months, role it up and store it during that time. You can also wrap it in plastic and store it on your deck or porch without having to worry about damage.
2. Wash your rug at least once a month. Use some soap and water to scrub both sides, and then rinse it with a hose on a sloped service, like a driveway.
3. Dry the rug in sunlight to prevent mold from growing, especially after a particular bad rainstorm. If you're deck is covered, it'll be difficult to dry the rug quickly.
4. If moss or algae does grow on your rug, (although synthetic rugs are very resistant to this,) you can use bleach or a mixture of vinegar and water to remove it. Be cautious of bleach, though, as it can remove dye.
