Their diverse and warm color pallet makes them perfect for comfortable living areas. All of the rugs in this collection are woven on a Wilton loom out of nylon. This synthetic fiber is colorfast and super durable as well as easy to clean.
About Karastan
Karastan rugs began in the 1920’s, in a small mill in North Carolina. Marshall Field & Co. decided they wanted to machine make their own high quality oriental style rugs. The result was a collection of rugs indistinguishable from original imported rugs, at a much lower price. These new rugs were first sold out of Wanamaker’s New York department store in 1928. From there they have grown into one of the world’s leading providers of luxurious area rugs. Decorating your home or office with a Karastan area rug has become a status symbol of the well-to-do as the very name of Karastan has become synonymous with home luxury.
